Histology has actually been less painful than I'd expected! On the other hand, we're starting metabolism in biochem and I have discovered that I don't hate it any less this time around T_T.

And now for your daily weekly occasional dose of nature, I give you coral that eats jellyfish. Isn't nature awesome :D?

octopus eats shark is old school I love that video, but what's awesome about this is that coral are usually sedentary filter feeders, and the people who saw them had no idea how the hell they were actually catching the jellyfish. Nature ♥.

Lol BUT I REALLY DIDN'T KNOW! I was really shocked XDDDD. But now that I think about it, wtf, isn't coral reef a plant? XDDD

Haha, not a plant, though many act like plants in that they need sunlight for nutrition (actually for the algae that live inside them that produce for them) and can't move once they're adults. They're actually related to jellyfish, which makes this extra neat 8D.

Lol oh I didn't know that. So they're eating their own kind?

They're related at the phylum level so it's not *that* close, but sort of XD.
