My Terrible, Horrible, (Not Very) Good (Fairly) Bad Day
1) Left the house at 7am, got on Caltrain, transferred to BART, arrived at lab at 9:10am.
2) Had pot-luck lunch to send me and another girl off.
3) Had delicious, delicious cake.
4) Took care of loose ends (included getting hugs from everyone), left lab at 4:05pm.
5) Took shuttle to BART station, got on train at 4:30pm.
6) Train stalled five stops before the transfer point, was told delay would be momentary.
7) Display said the delay was 20 minutes.
8) Display said the delay was 30 minutes.
9) Display continued to say the delay was 30 minutes even after we'd been stuck there for an hour.
10) Someone finally had the bright idea to let us take the bus for free to the next station.
11) Got to next station, trains seemed to be working again so got on.
12) Arrived at transfer station. Discovered that I'd missed the 7:14pm train by five minutes and the next one wouldn't be until 7:54pm.
13) Eventually got home at 9pm.
14) Hours it took me to get home: 5
...so how's everyone else doing 8D?
