Title: The World is a Mysterious Place
Rating: G
Pairing: Kenpachi/Unohana
Summary: Things are changing in Soul Society.
Notes: First time writing Ikkaku, or Bleach in general. The crack is strong with this one.
Romantic isn't exactly what comes to mind when he thinks of Taichou. Strong, yeah. Badass, definitely. Eats Hollows for breakfast works too. Not sweet, not gooey, sappy, romantic, googly-eyed or just plain puking-your-guts-out-after-drinking-Renji's-pansy-ass-under-the-table sickening.
Well, most people would probably call actually showing up for appointments or not glaring at people until they moved out of the way common courtesy and shit instead of being romantic but this was Taichou. Other people were for stabbing, puppies were for kicking (unless Fukutaichou liked them, but she usually ended up killing them anyway), I got 'cher fucking undefeatable attack right here Taichou.
Yeah, it's been almost a thousand years since they joined the Gotei 13, Fukutaichou was getting bigger and Taichou had kinda mellowed, but it was still god damned weird to see him talking to Unohana-taichou all civil like when they passed each other and going over to the 4th division to drink tea (tea!) and not booze and he swore he'd caught Taichou humming once which had been downright terrifying, and he hadn't been properly terrified since Fukutaichou had stopped using his head to teethe.
Still, anyone who can get Taichou to turn in the paperwork on time so Old Man Yamamoto doesn't keep getting on his case is all right in his books, though he's not sure who exactly he should feel more sorry for.
But he does know one thing; they'll have the scariest damn kids in all Soul Society. With Fukutaichou as the older sister.
...
Ikkaku wonders how quick death by telling Yumichika he's ugly would be.
~end~

Good work on Ikkaku. The tenses seem awkward at times but no other criticisms besides that.
